HEADLINES
Office Closings | City offices will be closed July 3 for Independence Day. All offices will reopen at their regular hours July 6. City libraries will be closed July 3-4. There will be no residential trash or brush collection on July 3, nor will there be any curbside recycling service. All full-service, attended drop-off recycling centers will be closed July 4 and will reopen July 5. The landfill at 220 W. Hunter Ferrell Road will be closed July 4. All city recreation centers will be closed July 3-4. The city’s swimming pools will be open except for Heritage and North Lake aquatic centers.
AAA Bond Ratings | Irving's AAA ratings have been reaffirmed by Moody's Investor Services and Standards and Poor's for general obligation bonds and AA ratings for water and sewer bonds. Read more

until March of next year, workers for the 2010 Census may soon be
